Climate Action Plans

In January, 2021, President Biden issued Executive Order 14008, "Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad." The Executive Order makes it administration policy that climate considerations are an essential element of United States foreign policy and national security. The Executive Order calls for all Federal agencies, including Department of Defense and the military services, to prioritize climate change in all activities and incorporate its security implications into analyses as well as key strategy, planning, and programming documents.
